Our story
Just imagine…
You are your younger self.
You picked up a fighter jet model kit from the store…
"WOW!"
"The picture on the box looks so cool!"
You just can't wait to get home.
Then you open the box…
The disappointment hits IMMEDIATELY.
"What is this?"
It turns out you must glue the parts together…
"Doesn't feel like assembling a real aircraft at all…"
But okay. At least you'll be able to play with it when it's done…
Spoiler:
Not really.
"Will I even be able to play with this? Won't it just break?"
Right?
"Where's the paint? The brushes? Did they forget to include it?"
"Oh, I have to buy them SEPARATELY…"
Hours later the build is finished…
"Looks okay. I guess…"
Let's play out a mission!
"Oh, the gear broke off."
"Not much I can do with this except weave through the air…"
:(
"Let's just land again…"
Straight in the
trash bin.
Every model is a disappointment. It's either an art project…
or
the model you buy can be played with but just doesn't look like the real thing AT ALL.
You give up.

We did not.
Well we kinda did too but just initially…
Years went by.
We did stuff in our lives.
All studied mechanical engineering.
Until one day, as adults,
we bought a model again…
"Maybe things had changed?"
They hadn't.
We found out we all had this same disappointing experience…
"There has to be a better way."
We all had the same mission now...
